Want to waste hours and hours?  Make a facebook profile and start playing Farmville.  Its very very addicting, but fun!

You have to have friends and neighbors to make it fun though, so check out the Farmville forum and just ask people to add you as a friend on Farmville.  Pretty soon you'll be sending and receiving gifts, planting and harvesting crops, adding animals, and designing your very own virtual farm.
